Project Highlights:

• Complete civil infrastructure services for a new criminal justice center located at FCCJ’s north campus
• Provided the college’s training center with new construction of three types of driving tracks, used to teach students how to drive under extreme circumstances
• The first track is a reverse super-elevated chase track, which features banks that make a driver feel as though he is going twice as fast as his actual speed
• The second track is a large asphalt skid track that includes a sprinkler system which floods the track and teaches students how to drive in wet conditions
• The third track is a reaction course, including a long straight-away with street lights installed to give drivers last-minute signals, in order to test their reaction skills
• Provided design, civil engineering and construction
• Project components included complete site construction, road construction, asphalt paving, concrete curbing, landscaping, road striping, signage, retention ponds, sewage collection, water distribution and storm drainage systems
